Ohai! You look new, but you’ve come to the right place.
This little corner of the Internet is like none other. Why is that?
If you’re looking around for fitness help, chances are you’ve failed before. Some of you have failed quite miserably. I should know; I was obese for most of my life.
Perhaps you never have the motivation. Or perhaps your progress is constantly offset by binge eating. Maybe you’ve failed in your fitness endeavors over and over again, and this is your last attempt at fitness.
You’re in luck. This is going to be different.
Here’s the deal. Most people don’t understand that fitness is a skill. Motivation, willpower, self-control, all those things that fitspiration preaches… those are all relatively worthless in the grand scheme of your transformation.
If you fell down the first time you tried to ride a bike, you wouldn’t say “I don’t have the willpower or self-control to ride this bike. I’m hopeless.” Nope. You’d realize it’s a skill that you must learn, like any other. How silly is it, then, that we don’t think of fitness – also a skill – in the same way.
Here, you’ll learn the skills that are required to be successful in YOUR own transformation. Conquering skills like fitness knowledge, mindfulness, self-compassion, and discipline will ultimately lead your success.
But with every journey, you must start somewhere. And that place is in the articles below. Read these carefully. Read them in order. And most importantly, approach everything with an open mind, because this approach to fitness is different.
After all, you’re likely here because something wasn’t working, no?
First, let’s understand what it takes to be successful… to be motivated…

That’s it for now. I’ll add more material here. The goal is to have this place be a resource where you can learn about my philosophies and plan your diet. This should give you enough to get started, however.
Oh, lastly, if you’re a woman who cannot lose weight and has the tendency to binge eat and do a lot of cardio, this is a good read for you.
